About This Lesson Plan:

The Running Dragon Poem concept was introduced to me by the late and brilliant Poet, Marie Ponsot, whom I had the honor of studying with at Poets House, NYC, in an intimate cohort as part of a selective Master’s program. Today, I am introducing it to my students and to the community at large. If you are a teacher, I invite you to use this as a step-by-step guide—and to share with us the work your students create!
