West Hollywood - Jersey City

Poet(s) at IMUR Gallery as part of JCPOFEST

On Wednesday night, the Literary Salon took place at IMUR Gallery in Jersey City. The Distance Between Us brought together poets, writers, and community members for an evening of reflection, conversation, and shared stories.

The event featured Melida Rodas, Poet Laureate of Jersey City, and Jen Cheng, Poet Laureate of West Hollywood, along with guest writers Rashad Wright, Poet Laureate Scott Pleasants, Poet Laureate - Teaneck, Tris McCall, Patrick / I. Buenaventura, Edvige Giunta, Josh Fausty, and Gil Groom.

Moderated by Buttered Roll, the night invited audience participation and thoughtful discussion, creating a space for connection through poetry and storytelling.

Thank you to Ivy and Tris Productions for hosting, and to everyone who joined us. It was a meaningful evening that showed how poetry helps us listen, reflect, and come together.
